Hi all ,

Just had some tile effect laminate flooring laid in my kitchen.

Can anyone recommend what I can wash it with?  The one made by the 
makers of the floor is very expensive.

I like to use a little disinfectant when I wash the kitchen floor.  
Will this be alright?

Apart from the fact I think you're mad to have laminate flooring in a 
kitchen despite some manufacturers claims, I mop my bedroom floors with a 
'just damp' mop sponge with a little disinfectatnt floor cleaner mixed into 
the water. The general rule is that if the floor dries within 5 mins of 
being mopped, you have got the quantity right.
Now all you've got to do is hope your water appliancies don't leak! (the 
insurance are unlikely to setle up)

So it is a damp cloth only.

I did wonder about flooding but considering my last laminate flooring 
was down for 12 years I thought I would take a chance on it.

This one has been laid much better and is more expensive.

I hope my appliances behave themselves.
