Euros
Anyone recommend a good place to convert money into Euros at the moment? Is
it better to get them in the U.K. or in the destination country (Portugal)?

Thanx

ATMs at your destination usually provide the best rate.

Marks & Spencer do a good rate if you want some change prior to getting
there.

Other than that, I agree with the ATM option - or use a credit card.

Thanx for that Colin. Last time I found M&S to be the best. Will probably

Especially if you use a Nationwide card: no charges and money-market
conversion rates. No other bank offers that and it's much better than
changing currency in the UK.

Have you tried travelex.co.uk - and collect them at the airport?
