Cheap shipping abroad
I remember back in my uni days when foreign students had to get their stuff
back home at the end of the year.
Basically, students were able to find companies that gave them a fairly
large storage box to put all their non-valuable stuff into and they'd all
get picked up to be shipped by sea. It would take 3 months or so to get
there, but the cost was very affordable. It was something like 30 for a
box the size of an armchair in volume.
Does anyone know of any of these companies or any other way of getting stuff
shipped cheaply abroad. Time is not an issue. The items have little value.
Cost is the main thing.
Thanx.

It would help if you indicated from which country to which country.
It might help better if you posted in the education NGs, where someone
might already have achieved what you wish to do.
