WIN 8,000 OR A TRIP TO NEW ORLEANS
http://www.readersdigest.co.uk/forms/webforms/prizedraw
yes readers digest you may say but some one has to win, indeed my own granny

Also a cheap, discounted deal on the magazine should you be interested.

Why? There is a choice of prizes and Readers Digest will obviously give the
8000 instead of the holiday

Because some would regard the invitation to swim among the corpses in poor
taste. 8k is always worth having though.

Obviously - however it's just a tad insenstive to post a competition to New
Orleans at the moment, wouldn't you agree?

day by the cops.

Re: WIN £8,000 OR A TRIP TO NEW ORLEANS
If you read at the bottom of the comps page it says : "Details correct at 1st July 2005".
New Orleans had no problems on that date, so surely Reader's Digest can't be blamed for offering a prize holiday there?

What name should they killfile you under? You seem to change it daily.
Seriously though, Steffie, haven't you realised that whatever you post
you're going to get negative responses? I see that the (very) odd times
you've actually posted pleasantly on other ng's, people have responded in
the same way ( admittedly they didn't know who you were...), doesn't that
tell you something?
You reap what you sow....

Poor taste posting, but.................
Lets assume you do win and go for the holiday, and its bookable for next
year maybe? So, the influx of tourist money into the local recovering
infrastructure would surely be appreciated?
Still poor taste (or timing) though :-/
