Over Reporting by the BBC
I saw this story
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/beds/bucks/herts/4207190.stm on the
Midlands/East sction of the BBC England page under the heading Man's
rail death not suspicious. Then blow me down if on the North section
there was a story, Youth dies crossing railway track.
Thinking what are the chances of that happening on the same day saw
that it was exactly the same story, actually happening in
Northamptonshire.
I know that showing the the wrong pictute of a train winds some people
up or referring to the loco in a multiple unit but I do wish the BBC
would get its geography right.

Much precedent for National Media being clueless on geography..
Some of the rubbish posted on BBC news site defies belief.
As ever, their major responsiblity to convey accurate news reporting
goes out of the window, on a daily basis.
The old Central TV East used to be adamant that it's area stretched
down to Swindon, and up to Wrexham!!!
