Chickens
I understand that 1F20, 16:18 Euston - Liverpool has now been cancelled
after a "chicken" incident between Rugby and Wolverton. Diversions via
Northampton.

Oh, that sort of chicken! I'd visions of "train kills hens" - feathers
everywhere.
If this is a person playing chicken, let's hope in conjunction with the
video that was shown on the news the other day it gets the idea into
people's heads that you *don't* run out in front of a moving vehicle,
whether it's a train, a car or a bike.

The first thing that came to mind as I began to read the article was a
(kamikaze/overweight) bird versus cab window incident but the real
reason became unfortunately clearer as I got further in.
