Going home from Clapham Junc yesterday I saw Tangmere heading south
just as we approached the Thames bridge on the West London line.
Tangmere was on a special on Monday and isn't due out again until 7
Sept (3 Sep trip shows as cancelled) There is a trip shown today with
45231.
I assume Tangmere was heading for Stewarts Lane, is this where the loco
is based and where had it been since Monday?

Correct. It was doing Exeter - Stewarts Lane. Photos of it at Bristol
