OT: North East to Amsterdam on a Friday evening
Hi all,
I need to fly out to Amsterdam or within an hour of it, on Friday. I have
looked at KLM and BA, but there aren't flights after 16.00. Anyone know an
airline which flies from the north-east, within about 60 mins of Newcastle
that flies out to Amsterdam on a Friday after 8pm ?
TIA
Mr Rie

Your only options are from NCL and MME, and I am almost certain that there
are no flights which meet your requirements, either direct or via LHR or LGW
or BRU or CDG.

if stretching it that far, you could reach Edinburgh city by rail in 1
hour 30 then transfer to the airport by bus. easyJet fly to Amsterdam from
Edinburgh.
Alternatively, take an easyJet flight to somewhere which flies on to
Amsterdam (eg Bristol or London Stansted).
On that note, I noticed that if you book interconnecting easyJet flights
and leave a 90 minute gap, if you miss your connection - they will put you
on the next available flight for free. This was in the Telegraph on 20
August.

But they have only one flight per day EDI - AMS, at 9:25 am. The OP wants a
flight leaving after 8 pm.
