A bit early to say, no review units have been made available as yet.  The 
colour screen i2 model would seem to be worth the extra cash over the 
monochrome i3 though.

According to Maplin the i2 is mono and 239 and the i3 is colour and

I have a cable gps and tomtom 3 on my pda.  i keep thinking about a
stanadlone as then it's not specific to if I'm in the car (it's works
PDA)  rather than just the wife alone, but to be honest for the few
times a year we use it it's not worth upgrading tomtom nevermind
replacing the thing...

Just to throw something else into the mix - this is getting outside my price 
range but in case anyone's interested, Novatech seem to think this is worth 
shouting about...
