I prefer Opera 7.x (earlier versions) than 7.60+ or later - more 
configurable, and nicer to use.

I also use Firefox, but as a "second best"

Firefox is better at rendering content, but Opera has a nicer user 
interface - I use either or both depending on my mood  :-)

Opera, the browser formerly known as the fastest browser on the web.
My v8.01.7643 positively creaks compared with 7.23.3227, opening,
coming out of configuration, closing.

Likewise - I use both. But Opera is noticeably faster for moving backwards.
