Theres usually a Totally London promotion in January from the Mayors office.
Check http://uk.visitlondon.com/index.html in December.
Usually deals on hotels, restaurants and theatres in January as it's a quiet
trading time.
BUT you're still unlikely to get bargain tickets for The Lion King.
The better seats are booked up months (if not a year) in advance.
You can get cheap seats but the theatre is huge and it's well worth paying
the extra for a decent seat.
