Do we know if the price of XBox has / will come down in anticipation of XBox 
360's launch?

My mate has one which has given up the ghost and his kids dont understand 
the old "wait til November for a new one" mentaility.

Any ideas the cheapest place to get one?

Why don`t you fix it? there are files on the net all be 100mb in size that 
allows you to work out what is wrong and usually how to fix them.

I got to second that, xbox's are so easy to fix or repair. Not reading Dvds? 
open xbox, take lid of dvd drive clean lens with cotton bud with alchohol or 
simmilar on it for example. Will work just as new, xbox drives rarely fail 
there not as cheap and nasty as most.

Unlikely to get an official price cut.  The lose money on every xbox and 
they want you to upgrade to xbox360.
