Broadway
Hi I am off to New York in September and would love to see Mamma Mia
on Broadway.
Anyone know where I can get some tickets on the cheap ?
Cheers

When you get there try the TKTS ticket booth on Times square. They have
last minute tickets discounted by 25-50%.

Fully agree with you Steve.
It is the only place to get the tickets cheap.

You will also find a TKTS office at the South Street Seaport if you happen
to be towards the south of Manhattan, queues are generally shorter than
Times Square.

All good advice, but be careful about getting these tickets and where you
sit. When I bought from TKTS, I was completely surrounded by foreign
tourists who clearly got their tickets from the same place. Nothing wrong
with that, you would think, but a very loud line-by-line translation
(followed by delayed response laughing) was more than a little irritating
throughout the show. If it's a specific show that you REALLY want to see, I
would recommend spending the extra cash and getting good seats ahead of
time. Otherwise, give it a spin, TKTS certainly have the lowest prices I've
seen - al;though Broadway seems to be much more expensive than the West End.

Re: Broadway
For our recent NYC trip we bought a few tickets with discounts
identified on www.broadwaybox.com There are a couple of offers for
Mamma Mia on there at the moment, but is worth checking back as people
update it often. They also have discounts for London Shows.
