laser printer recommendation?   
Looking to spend upto 100ish. Economical is what Im after something that is 
known to doa lot of prints per toner. Will be printing mainly high voluime 
of word/excel documents.

any recommendations/anyplace doing a promo at the mintue?.

Check out PCPro.co.uk. They normally compare the toner usage.

From what I have seen, cheap units tend to be around 2p-3p per page, with 
the workgroup HPs coming in at around 9p.

Kyoceras are very econonical for a bit more money. You can do a spreadsheet 
to demonstrate your return on investment. I did one for the powers that be 
at work, when they insisted that I get 4x cheap personal lasers. I showed 
that it was better to spend 170 rather than 50-100 per unit, at a certain 
volume per month. It has taken about 5 months to break even, but from here 
on in it is pure savings.
