Oh you bloody whinger. Get a life. What about the poors sods who camped out at Heathrow for 3-4 days trying to get a flight out and BA (alledegdly) did very little. Yes, the train went tits up - it happens. Never had a car breakdown which has been inconvienient? If it is brake or suspension fault as you say, that is safety releated and it sounds like Eurostar did the right thing. Would you like to travel at 186mph with an iffy brake or suspension fault. And you cant magic up another set with crew just like that - drivers have restrictions on hours worked. And maintenance of the CTRL has to be don sometime. At least Eurostar did something. Many Toc would have shrugged shoulders and said "it aint my problem". And pray tell us what compensation you have been offered? Then we can consider your moan in perspective.Date:22 Aug 2005 02:40:03 -0700 Author: |
