Catflap ??
HELP !!

As anyone solved this problem...

Need to have a Catflap fitted , but the problem is both my doors are double
glazed and glass top to bottom.

Any solutions 'besides drowning the bloody cat'

TIA

Extend the "tubing" and put the flap on an outside wall instead if the door

Make him his own little doorway in a convenient bit of wall.

you could remove the bottam glass and get one of the upvc sollid panels
fitted instead and get a cat flap put into that?

Any double glazing firm will supply and fit a replacement sealed unit with a
catflap fitted. I have had three now (I've moved house twice since I got
the cat!) and have had flaps fitted into glass. Don't expect much change
out of 150 though, but at least you keep the original unit so that when you
move the new owner doesn't have to go to the expense of reverting it back to
glass.

Otherwise, contact a local glazier. I bought the cat-flap myself and
presented it to a professional glazier who had the whole thing fitted in
less than an hour.

I could have done it cheaper if I'd been willing to remove the door and
deliver it to the glazier's office.

We've done this as well - bloody cat cost us more than the door - cats are
more expensive than wifes!!

Indeed, but cats are gods (and have the pyramids to prove it), wives
only think they are :-).

That's similar to what I did, only I used a white MDF panel
which is much cheaper. I've still got the glass panel in
the cupboard under the stairs for the day I move out.
