Hi Manucunians,

The last time I was there the Yang Sing was still superb.

Is it still?

If I can't get in what's next in the Chinatown pecking order?

My personal favourite is the Thai part of the Pacific Restaurant at 58 - 60
George Street in Chinatown. The Chinese part strikes me as distant and a bit
overpriced.

I admit I haven't been this year yet, but consistantly over the last 5 and
more years, the lunchtime buffet has been superb in choice and standard, at
a cost of 7 pounds-ish inclusive. Certainly no better value in Chinatown -
if anywhere at that standard. Dunno what they do evenings...........

2 sittings - 12 and 1330.

In the evenings they do expensive, in both bits. And I find it irritating
that in a Thai and Chinese restaurant they expect the entire party to decide
on Chinese or Thai and eat the same thing.
