Tunnels = Death ?   
After the fire in a CTRL tunnel a few days ago. I was just wondering,
if there as ever been a tunnel built with out loss of life?

I used to build them out of paper mache, don't recall killing anybody while
doing it.

I use plaster bandages over a plywood frame. ;-)

Probably nearly all of them. Something like "deaths per mile" might
produce a sensible statistic for those who need them; I suspect that
such a DPM casualty figure might show a small but measurable increase
for longer tunnels due to the increased distance involved in casualty
extraction and the increased possible obstruction.
