Stupid Q of the day: What size hex tool do I need to remove the caliper
bolts from an Astra (51 reg, 2.0 DTI hatchback thingy)?

Also what size hex tool is needed to remove the nut holding the disc?

Assuming you are just changing the pads, you need a 7mm Allen key to release
the caliper.

The disc retaining screw is usually a Torx T30 on Astra's that age.
