Re: attn Happychappy..please read inside.tia
Hi Truetrek,
As explained by Lordy, i wasnt flaming you, i was standing up for you -
nothing at all wrong with what you did. You highlighted a perfectly valid
discount which will be handy for some people i'm sure, particularly if they
are ordering smallish quantities of discs.
My comment was just a bit of light sarcasm aimed at Ian tindale pointing out
the copy and paste that he'd missed.
Keep up the good work

Ah, but I didn't miss it - it was presented as if the poster was the author
of the work, with no clear demarcation regarding which bits are quoted from
other sources, where their own work begins and ends, and indeed, crediting
the source. Hence, a bit of light sarcasm aimed at the original poster's new
position as SVPs copywriter (or so it could be mistakenly interpreted as).
It's important to make it clear what parts of a post are your own work, and
which parts are quoted from external sources. No need to go for the full
'Harvard referencing' deal, just a fair credit and clear quoting avoids
plagiarism or confusion. Neither of which occurred in this instance, I
admit.
By the way, I got some Datawrite Titaniums - a good offer on at the time I
ordered (which ironically was about half an hour before I was emailed with
the cheaper postage offer - oh well, can't be helped).
