Fed-up with trolls, spam, off-topic posts, abuse, un-gentlemanly
conduct and people who disagree with you? Take a leaf out of a number

the nice civil ones at the address below:

Membership is by free subscription. I don't know if you have to roll
up your right trouser leg or bare your right breast. I think all you
have to do is claim sanctuary. A secret password is required. 

So if you are fed up with the state your newsgroup is in, the solution
is in your hands. And remember net nannies and milk monitors have no
clout, and that IS official.
