Wtd: Good Quality Cordless Drill
Prefer heavy-duty, 18V or 24V.
Are there any 'cheaper' brands which are of a decent quality for normal home
use?
Had a look on ebay and spotted things like 'Boschmann' - is this just
another shitey cheap type?
Had a 'Power Devil' which turned into cheese very quickly, local hardware
store put it into perspective by stating - 'Power Devil isn't a brand, it's
a sticker'!
Obviously don't mind spending a bit more for quality/reliability.

IMHO the grey "professional" range at Wickes are good (I've got a 18V
hammer drill and a 240v SDS). The batteries are well priced too.

I have a Black & Decker 18v, had it around 4 years, can't fault it.

Check if your local B and Screw have any of the old style Performance 18v
cased drill kits left they were reduced last month to just under 20 two
batteries (and the usual bits you dont need) I'm impressed with mine they
new version ( almost the same but with light grey casing) is at the
original price of 49.99 which no doubt will come down markedly at the next
bank holiday
