Teeth whiteners?!
Anyone know of any good bargains or which ones to avoid or go for, for these
teeth whitener kits you can get these days? Don't want to spend an arm and a
leg (perhaps up to 30)

If I bought one kit, could two of us use it and get good results or are they
geared up for one person per kit?

Thanks
Andy

Who'd want to spend an arm and a leg on his teeth?

teeth whitening costs a lot more than 30

re read that question and ask yourself this; if you and your ms/mrs
want white teeth, do you think it's worth paying more than 15/gob ?

Blanx Toothpaste from Boots about 6.95 but it lasts Months.
well worth it and it works. You will see the difference in a couple
of weeks. Even smokers have been suprised at the results.

I bought a 30% kit from ebay for less than a fiver, I've used it 5 times and
there's enough gel for another couple of applications.
It works great, gets my teeth really white (and I'm a smoker) I use it every
couple of months. The gel stores for a couple of years in the fridge.

Unless you buy an extra pair of "trays", then they're not really
interchangeable, they mould to fit your teeth/mouth and are personal to you.

That is a stain remover paste. Fine if your teeth are stained but useless
if you have naturally off-white teeth.

Do a search for "crest whitestrips" on ebay. They're relly good but not
on sale over here yet, folk that go on holiday bring them back and sell
them, or you can get them from sellers direct in the USA, this is what
I've done, they're really good and don't use any nasty bleaches that can
make your gums sore.

I bought my kit off eBay, too, and I'm really pleased with the results. I
paid about the same - 5. The thermoforming trays are a bit tricky to get
used to but, once you've got the hang of it, they're fine. Hope this helps.

He's already specified the answer to that question, which bit wasn't
clear exactly ?

You seem to be confusing white teeth with healthy teeth.

Cheers guys/gals - I expected a few answers (from one extreme to the other -
such is usenet - a wide and varied bunch!!!).

As I said originally, I try not to buy rubbish but then don't want to spend
a fortune too. The stuff off ebay sounds cheap enough (and I assume causes
no damage) so I may give it a look.

Thanks

Was looking at the Crest Whitestrips on ebay and they seem to do the job but
have also found this which seems good value for such a large qty of gel (I
know its not the strips type of whitening)

www.smile4you.co.uk

That would give me 2 sets of trays and 150cc of gel for around 26.

Can't find this seller on ebay though unless I'm missing something but I may
just order direct from the site above.

Hmm, link works but when they say qty 2 mouth trays, I'm assuming they mean
2 sets? ie. same as the normal special offer advertised on their pages where
you get a free set of mouth trays.

Or does qty 2 simply mean top and bottom trays for 1 mouth?

Yes the same ... You get 2 sets of trays i.e 4 trays but in addition there
is the discount.

This UK company sells kits from 5.99 to 11.99 and extra gum trays for 50p
http://www.lookgr8.co.uk/index.php
I've used them and they do work, just don't expect a "Hollywood white
smile" they'll just go a few shades lighter.
