Does the job for me, plus it has seperate audio out and supports RGB.

they've changed the design a bit, but my Argos SCART switcher for a tenner 
is great, you need to provide your own cables though

Asda had a Philips autoswitching unit for 9.99. Don't know if they're 
still available.

I think you get what you pay for.  A cheap one  I have (from Maplin,
IIRC) suffers from audio breakthrough between the two inputs, so I
hear satellite TV (input A)  when playing a DVD (with input B
selected) with a quiet soundtrack.
