I have the 750i which comes with  a set of headphones but the adaptor
that goes into the phone is not a single jack type - it is a special
one that only fits K750i.

Does anyone know of an adaptor that will let me use a different set of
headphones with the K750i please?

And, if its anything like the Nokia one I have, you have to unplug it 
when you want to make/receive a call, as there is no mic facility.
