What has happened to Ebuyer ??
Further to my earlier post, my 34 1GB SD card turned up today by
recorded delivery, and I ordered it on super saver free delivery
scheduled for next Tuesday sp in effect next day delivery is a bonus.

Also one reply to my last post quotes a good returns experience.

Furthermore a mate of mine had a laptop with a prominent hot pixel
swapped out in two days !!!!

I have even heard rumours that they are replying to e-notes in a matter
of hours not 7 working days as before !

Have Ebuyer turned the corner and become a reputable e-retailer or is
this just a blip or the calm before the storm ?????

Oops, now you've gone and done it - kiss of death ;-)

Haven't used them for a while, but you've gotta admit their prices are very
keen on lots of things!

They replaced my 100Gb notebook drive with a new one, but took about a week
to send a returns number.

Maybe things are quieter then usual because of the school holidays, so
their staff can keep up. Perhaps they can learn something from the good
feedback ...?

Re: What has happened to Ebuyer ??
I ordered a hard drive to be delivered at extra cost a week last friday

Never turned up, called and was cut off, called again and got through to
be told it was lost, told I would be called with an explanation.

Eventually yesterday I got through again was told it was still lost,
still waiting for a reply for enotes I sent over 12 week ago

When I asked for a refund and compensation I was told it was there
policy not to compensate there "valued" customers (ok I added the valued
bit but if you've ever called them you will have heard this word a lot
in there recorded messages)

The long and the short of it, i will NEVER order from ebuyer again and I
would recomend to anyone not to use this company.

Order from overclockers.co.uk an sunday night, it turned up tuesday morning.

Are you taking the piss?

Following my post over a week ago about delivery delays due to the
"warehouse move", mine still hasn't arrived!

I spent 15 minutes in their phone queue before giving up yesterday, and my
eNote is unanswered after 2 days.

The items, still in stock, are still appearing on my order as due to be
delivered on "Tuesday 2nd August". Oh yes, 9 days ago. I look forward to
going back in time to collect them.

I have used eBuyer for thousands of pounds of deliveries in the past. This,
assuming it arrives, will be my last.

Re: What has happened to Ebuyer ??
Bought a hub last november, packed in a few days back. filled in the RMA
form and they came and collected it from me by courier ! The orignal hub
price was only 5.99. Never had a problem with Ebuyer and spent thousands
with them.

I received an incorrect item from them on Monday. Filled in an RMA request
at 16:30 and received a reply at 17:30 with the RMA number. Phoned them the
following day to arrange a courier collection and the call was answered
after 3 minutes and a collection was arranged. A few minutes later I
received an email directing me to their website, where I was able to chose a
day and address for the collection to take place.

Not sure - I ordered a wlan USB stick on Monday for delivery on Monday
next. Arrived registered delivery yesterday. Didn't have to sign for it,
but that's Royal Mail for you nowadays.
