I recently bought a Canon IXUS 50 digital camera, and was wondering of
anyone could recommend somewhere to get a spare Li-ion battery? The
battery that comes with the camera is only 760mAh, which lasts a couple
of hours, and I was wondering if anything's available with more/higher
capacity?

Capacity can't be bigger - you'll have to buy a spare or two like I did and 
lets face it, a 5Mp camera lasting 2 hours on a battery thats smaller than 
any mobile phone one I've seen is bloody brilliant.
I used to get 10 photos onb my old pre-megapixel one!

I have been meaning to get a replacement batt for exactly the same camera, 
not got round to it yet but I reckon the cheapest you will find is at 
www.7dayshop.com I think the battery type is NB-1L

and its 9.99 bear in mind its not an official canon one which i think go 
for around the 30 mark?
