Apologies for the o/t post, but is it just me or is their site virtually
inaccessible these days (something like 10 minutes to load each page)?
They say there is currently no problem. Any solutions apart from dump
NTL and use another e-tailer?

It's very variable. Sometimes fast; other times it would be quicker to
walk to Sheffield and collect in person (except they wouldn't supply
over the counter!)...

Maybe your PC is trying to tell you something

If anything goes wrong with an ebuyer order then prepare for a lot of
trouble to get it sorted out. Plus just lately i've been noticing they
are not actually the cheapest as they say they are

Well not only was the site quick enough last night, ebuyer have excelled
themselves and shipped the card today, and it was on a super saver
delivery of next Tuesday, and they have emailed me the REc. Delivery
tracking number.

Whatever next, ebuyer providing a good, no excellent service :-)

I ordered one of these cards a few days ago, came today 2 days before
expected delivery date, well packaged, no probs at all. This is my second
purchase from Ebuyer & while have read here of some bad experiences, my 2
experiences were absolutely fine. So far I have no reason not to buy from
them again. (Maybe I've been lucky....?)

I've seen ALOT of posters saying how bad ebuyer are but i've used them
extensively without problems. Admittedly I haven't had to return something
for a while but they have been as good as gold in the past.

I ordered a compact flash 2.2gb microdrive which was faulty. Returned
it to ebuyer money refunded within 1 week. So no problems for me

Re: 1 GB SD Card for just over 34 shipped at ebuyer
EBUYER ??????? AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm having trouble with them NOW !
They've moved warehouses so evrything is delayed, my order for three
different things 8 days ago has been delivered in 3 parts in oversized
boxes, and still not complete - No bugger answers their enotes, their
complaints line - well - expect a VERY long and expensive wait on the phone
(I tried TWELVE times yesterday kept getting through and being cut off
without talking to anyone.)
I do believe ebuyer could be brilliant IF they give their staff a boot up
the backside where the enotes are concerned. But "we will answer in enotes 7
days" is not good enough.

No problem ? I have had problebs about a quarter iof the times I have
ordered..

It could be an NTT problem. There has been quite a bit of discussion on the
NTT newsgroups about this.
