Looking for hook files for receipts
I know it's not directly bargain-related, but you fine people seem to
know where to find everything...
I'm looking for something called a "hook file", it's basically
something you stick receipts onto.
I've only found one place that does them any more, Stationery Box, and
they are spike files, which are lethal spikes that stick straight up -
not good when small people are around!
Found a couple of B2B stationery suppliers, but they want large minimum
order.
Tried Staples, WHSmith, Sussex Stationers etc etc etc etc....they
should be between £2 and £3

Unless someone else knows of a better "small receipt" management system?

How about several large curtain tie-back hooks, screwed into a cork/softwood
type notice board ?

It works fine for me (but then again I don't have hundreds of recipts)

How about using bulldog clips and bunging the lot in a box file?

Re: Looking for 4-ring binders was - Looking for hook files for receipts
Same theory behind the this next question:
4 ring binders - 2 ring are useless, tried Ryman, Stationary Box, WHSmith,
Staples....
You used to be able to get them everywhere...
Am I the only person who doesn't fancy re-inforcing their ring every 2
months??

If you've got an account at LLoydsTSB ask customer services for some
'binders for your statments', they'll usually give you a few totally free.

Got a couple kicking around at home if you want to pay the postage?

Well, I appreciated the posting, but as with everything at Rymans, it's
going to blow my budget.
I need 9 of them, and even with the "3 for 2" offer, that's going to be
53.94 for the 9 I need.
Compared with 2 ring binders (ie:WHSmith: 72p) which would be 6.48!

Might just have to live with second-rate bindage for now.

If you are prepared to accept smaller rings - 50mm as opposed to 65mm -
but to buy 10 folders, then the price comes down to 18.74 including P&P
