My alarm keeps going off when the weather is too warm.

But how can I lock the car without enabling the alarm ??

I've tried locking the car manually clockwise and anticlockwise, but
the alarm is still activated.

Isn't there a little press-button on the IR (?) detector in the front 
courtesy light unit? I think there's summat like that on my P-reg.

You can diable the movement sensor by pressing the button on the dash
but you would be better off getting the problem repaired. It is rarely
difficult. A dealer or alarm specialist will be able to do it for you.
