Waterloo to Euston
This may be slightly OT but I hope someone can help.
I will be travelling to Waterloo on the Jubilee Line tomorrow morning,
direction Green Park. I then need to change onto the northobund
Northern Line to Euston. I have a 5 min connection from
Jubilee>Northern and then a 10 min connection to get my overground
train at Euston.
Could some kind soul tell me how far the interchange is at Waterloo?
Isn't there some sort of tube map which tells you the best place to get
on/off a tube train in order to connect onto another line?

If you stay on the Jubilee Line to Green Park and then change for the
Victoria line to Euston there will be less of a walk.

Re: Waterloo to Euston
If you're travelling from the east (Canary Wharf sort of direction)
then your best bet will be to change onto the Northern Line at London
Bridge. The walk from Jubilee to Northern at London Bridge is about 2
mins, compared to 5 or 6 at Waterloo... and Waterloo is itself 5 mins
from London Bridge on the Jubilee. City branch of the Northern line is
a bit slower but you'll probably save at least 5 mins this way...
The interchanges with the Jubilee Line and Victoria or Piccadilly at
Green Park are almost as bad as Waterloo.

There is the Way Out Tube Map
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1899743014/goingunderground/202-2690932-6434261
but it's a "real" map so you habe to buy it.
and http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acropolis/7069/stations.html is a
good site, unfortunately not much use for the OP's journey.
Er, so generaly not much help really.

(snip)
And as a sample, it says the nearest car to the Jubilee line exit at
Waterloo is 1 or 6 (i.e. the very front or very back). You would then
need the front car on the Northern line for the exit at Euston.
If you follow someone else's suggestion and change at London Bridge
instead, to leave the Jubilee line at London Bridge you want the fourth
car from the front. You would then need the second car from the front on
the Northern line.

not too OT i hope but in the early 1990's you used to be able go get a
small booklet [with a bright pink cover] that had all these sort of
details on a line by line basis. it was i recall very useful.
