Crumby pendolino seats
Is it me or has anyone else noticed that on joining a pendolino, when
sitting in first, I have to brush off the crumbs from the seat that
remain after breakfast has been served.
Given the high fares, I'd have thouight the least the staff could do
when preparing the train for its next journey is to brush the crumbs
off.
It is very unprofessional and they stand out on the dark blue cloth.

You don't travel first class for the quality of the accommodation; you
do it to avoid having to sit next to people like me. Isn't that enough?

Mention it to Will Self and he'll put it in his column.

Been there too... someone had helpfully placed some chewing gum on the
underside of the armrest, which then transferred itself to my (brand
new, first day wearing them) suit trousers. :-(
