integration or multiculturism?
where do you stand?
IM for integration,if you come to Britain it should be because you want to
be British.
if you support pakistan at cricket...to use one analogy, but were born here
I would deport you tomorrow.
the muslim girl who recently won the right to wear a tea towel over her head
to school I would reverse that decision too.
I'M not a racist either,so stick your political correctness up your ass if
you don't like my comments.
British & proud to say it!

Me too!!!

Shouldn't it be "arse" then?

I know a fellow who left the UK, because at 44, to cut a long story
short he was considered "too old" for permanent employment in his
industry. So he was recruited by Americans, and the jobs in Britain that
he and other contractors did are now filled by underpaid Koreans.

Must he stop cheering England at football?

let me see now, I was English, I lived the Den Haag and cheered for
Feyenoord when they played Arsenal. Who should have deported me and where
to?

Interestingly I see an unusual phenomenon in the engineering biz, not only
are they retaining older workers they're even hiring over 65's. One friend
of mine hired on a few months before me and he's 68. We even have a 78 year
old from somewhere in the Diaspora. Yesterday I was talking to B-I-L's
father in law, he's 82 and was hired full time at Rice University.

Me thinks British MP's do not listen to their constituents.

As the son of a former Tottenham season ticket holder, young Master
Pinny was instructed to cheer for Ajax at last week's pre-season
friendly in Amsterdam against Arsenal!

They didn't listen to this fellow and his colleagues when they lobbied
Parliament about the changes to the contracting rules, which caused
numbers of them to expatriate themselves, to avoid having to work
through temp agencies owned by certain party faithful with vested
interests. Ironically, the rules in place to protect American labour
force from cheap imported foreign labour are the ones which currently
prevent me from making a contribution to my own upkeep.

Fifty is just the start of Part 2 these days.

It's an iteresting dilema. We are asked to work to 70 because the pension
schemes can't cope, but we are too old to get a job at 50!

Catch 22?

There's an enormously extended dependency period for youth, too.
Something's not right.

We could all just quietly go away and die, but unfortunately for the
twenty somethings who want our jobs, people don't smoke the way they
did, they have colonoscopies and cholesterol pills and fruits and
vegetables and oat bran and go for walks every day. And it gets worse,
because of stem cell research.
