BBC NEWS England Bristol Rail group's fears for franchise
First Great Western has made the shortlist for the route
A passengers' group says there is "widespread concern" over draft
timetables for a new rail franchise.
First Great Western, Wessex Trains and Stagecoach are bidding to run
the Greater Western rail franchise.
Christopher Irwin of the Rail Passengers' Committee said the proposals
could harm service levels.
"The franchise is driven by a desire to minimise government
expenditure, rather than effective delivery of a service," he said.

Just nick picking but `Wessex Trains' should read `National Express Group'
and `FGW' should be just `First Group' - Not your fault I know.
