Northern Sighting
Not to sure where it was going but heading out of Victoria heading towards
Salford Central at 19:20 this evening was a former Arriva Trains Northern
142 still in the old Blue and Big Green N livery, think this is the first
time one of these has found its way to Manchester.

Take Care

Probably the 19:18 Manchester Victoria to Wigan Wallgate via Walkden.

By coincidence, I posted a pic of 142 025 to a.b.p.r this evening. That
was the colour scheme I photographed that unit in, about a year ago, at
Leeds, but I think that 142 050 is now the only one left with a big N.

You are not very observant then, as we have had many a 142 on ManPic
and Airport at times also had them attached to zx153s as well.

Also, 156s in this livery have been finding their way to Buxton
recently, as well as Regional Railways 150s.

142025 Has been around recently I saw it on Newton Heath yesterday and
it worked between Manchester Victoria and Leeds today in Former
Northern Spirit "big N " livery, I think this and 142050 are the only
remaining ones in this livery
