New arrivial at GCR North   
Seen tonight at Rushcliffe halt on the GCR North was class 47 number 47765 
in parcels livery? i get confused with all the logos that went on um over 
time! Also used to have a name plate on it but obviously removed. The loco 
looks in good condition unlike the paint work but ive seen worse.
Anyway anyone know what the GCR are going to do with this loco

47765 is privately owned by Mark Fowler (owner of D7629) and
information will come available on the website http://www.47765.com as
time permits.

Both cabs need a bit of work doing to replace missing dials and guages
and will also need a bogie swap due to a Traction Motor bearing
failure.

Once back in traffic, 765 will be used on regular passenger workings
and due to being dual braked, can be used with either the Vac Mk1 rake
or the ex Gatwick Express Mark 2 air braked rake.
