Re: Greenhill Junction where is it?
A quick Google search reveals that it's near Falkirk
It's probably the junction(s) shown on the map http://tinyurl.com/9w5os

It is.The Upper junction is where the line to Stirling leaves the Glasgow
Queen Street to Edinburgh line (west of the arrow on the map) and the Lower
junction is where the line to Stirling joins in with the line from
Motherwell andCumbernauld (east of the arrow).

The lines from Larbert and Falkirk Grahamston (towards Cumbernauld,
Motherwell etc.) join at Carmuirs West Junction then, at Greenhill Lower Jn,
they throw off a connection to Greenhill Upper, on the Falkirk High - Croy
(- Glasgow Queen Street) line. Does that help?

A few miles west (or SW) of Falkirk / Larbert.
If I recall correctly, they are:
Junction of lines from Glasgow Queen Street & Cumbernauld to Larbert &
beyond. (Lower)
or where the Queen Street lines to Falkirk High / Larbert split (Upper)

About 20 miles NE of Glasgow. Larbert is probably the nearest town.

Or a nice relaxing trip by train, enjoying the scenery and a few
cans of cider. May I suggest the Settle & Carlisle one way.
