It seems to me and no doubt others that uk.local.essx is beyond
repair. Should a moderated group be created would you be inclined to
use it? I am posting to every uk.local group so that I may tap into
those who have left for other groups. I am also in the process of
creating an RFD for submission to the appropriate committee. Should
enough people respond to this post I will have an e-mail address
created for the purpose of having dialogue with interested parties on
this subject. 

This would be a purely informal course of action. Formal discussion
will have to take place in the appropriate newsgroup.
