Indian supertrain?
As a temporary distraction, here's a question:
While on my recent trip to India I caught a very brief glimpse of a "bullet
nose" train, not as sleek as, say ice3, more like 80's pendolino, somewhat
boxed. As far as I remember it was white, or white-ish. That spot was
roughly around 100 miles before Amritsar, as travelling from N. Delhi.
Does anyone have any info (pics, websites?) on this train? I tried to ask
questions at Delhi Railway museum, but I only got blank stares :(

I'm guessing that would be the Delhi-Amritsar Shatabdi. They're running
140kmh(150?) services after a line upgrade using Alstom-built stock.
Typically hauled by something like a WAP-4

I was hoping... nope.
well... no, I don't think so.
I don't think so... because I saw the one from the pic elsewhere in India
and there was no wow factor involved, just a loco.
I need to consult my girlfriend ;)
