Railway Videos, etc.
A friend of mine is acting as an executor for a deceased friend, and
has come across a number of railway videos and books among the
effects.

Where might he expect to get the best price for them? I'm not familiar
with the content, although he tells me that his first job was
Stationmaster's Clerk at Pontrilas, so he is not unrailwaylike in his
background.

Not an easy one this: unless there are some rarities there,
he'll find the value is really rather low. Typical videos
seem quite hard even to give away for nothing.

The best way to start would be to make a list. I'd
be happy to check it over for anything that might be
valuable.

Thanks, Charlie. I've passed your message on and suggested that
donating them to the Bluebell Railway bookshop might be a better move.

Never used it myself but if you want a cash return there is always
auction houses or EBay.
