Becasue there should not be any as of diagrams in force from today,

As I understand it, the only slam door trains passing through Purley now
are:
0643 Littlehampton to London Bridge - 12 car (until 5th August)
0652 Hastings/0732 Eastbourne to Victoria - 8 car from Hastings, 12 from
Eastbourne (until 19th August)
0936 Victoria to Brighton - 12 car (until 19th August)
1717 Victoria to Seaford/Eastbourne- 12 car, front 4 to Seaford, rear 8 to
Eastbourne (Until 19th August)
1724 Victoria to Southampton/Littlehampton - 12 car front 4 to Southampton,
rear 8 to Littlehampton (until 5th August)
and 19th August is the last day slam doors are scheduled to be in use with
Southern.

Had you done some research before posting, you would have determined
that I, myself, D7666, alerted this newsgroup to the same list of
trains about 10 days or so ago.

To be honest, if I've got a small amount of information immediately to hand
that appears to be relevant to a topic being dicussed, I'll go ahead and
post it. I didn't really have time to go back seeing if anyone has posted
the same thing already, especially when my posting was only going to amount
to about 10 lines of text.
You could have given the reply you gave to me above to either of '4sub's'
original postings, which might have been more useful to him/her too.
