Slightlty OT: Snobs and Yobs   
Anyone else see the channel 4 programme on the Upper Classes last night? 
Shame he didn't go on a shoot too!

Quite interesting but it was a bit odd that when it came to country
sports he kept talking about them being "toff's" pursuits, mentioning
that they were followed by both ends of the social spectrum and then
going back to calling it a toff's pursuit.

Yes I noticed that. What I was impressed by was his open-mindedness and 
sheer guts in riding out, given his v. limited experience on horse-back. 
Shame it wasn't broadcast on a more popular channel and about a year ago!

Considering the limitations of the small screen, I thought he did a pretty 
good job of putting the pro-sports case without going over the top. It 
could have been an awful lot worse!
