Ardnamurchan
Hi all,
Moved from East devon to Scotland at the beginning of the year and
finally getting the rods out next week! Going to Resipole on the
Ardnamurchan Peninsula for a few days and any local knowledge of areas
to fish and species would be great. Can get bait from Glasgow Angling
before going so details of what to take would be appreciated.
Cheers
Mark

Hi,
get in touch with these people for detailed info. They are very
helpful.
http://www.west-scotland-marine.com/
They are located a bit further down the road towards Kilchoan.
At this time of the year there is usually plenty of mackerel at the
entrance to Loch Sunart.

What sort of fishing are you fancying Mark, boat, shore, species?
Give us a clue and I'll do what I can.
I moved up to scotland from Yorkshire about 4 years ago and now live
near the corran ferry, but fish all round the area.

Hi Andy
I would indeed, have just got back to usenet, and was going to post on
UKRFG to see how you all got on a Brenig - where you there?
I will drop by the game group and say hello.

Re: Ardnamurchan
Nick,
I am only really interested in shore fishing, as the last time I went
on a wreck fishing trip, I spent 10 hours hanging over the side! Not
really bothered about targetting a specific species; so any info on
whatever's in season at the moment would be great.

I was indeed. There's quite a long thread on UKRFG about Brenig.

Yes... do! I'm sure the guys will appreciate hearing from you again.
My apologies to all on uk.rec.fishing.sea for hijacking this thread, but not
we'd not heard from Nick for a long time. Will now take offline.
