Well here it is at last with no guarantee whether there will be a puddle or
not.
If it doesn't work click again and again. Hope you like.

Oh, wow! Fab verandah pics. It's a whole summer living area, isn't it.
What nice clear sky. (We had a warm -just imagine that- fog today -
ugggh, all stinky and foostie!) I love the awning, too.

Haven't got to the "varanda" yet just the pictures link 9 & 10 is that
the view from the verandah?
<later> ah no I see the view is really of the docks... and your
witches broom is poised ready for a quick get away. B-) And has a
wall moved? The width appears to more or less double.

You must be clicking it the wrong way. You can see her broomstick on the
wall.

Titter. I have two verandahs. Oneat the front toward the sea and the other
with the broom that Pete at Brantwood made for me, toward the back garden
and the houses. It's been so hot out there today that I'm sunburned.

Thank you. I can now begin to like my flat. I hate things that are half done
or don't get done at all. The markiser can be much lower, all the way down
and keep the rain out and the sun but one of them blew up onto the roof last
year under a storm. It was awful. I secure them double up now with rope, Jp.
Sorry to hear about the stinky ol' fog. I thought that was English, fog.
Edith.

You are welcome Tania. I got off with 400 and the rest will be paid from a
communal loan thro our rent, for everyone's veranda. Much easier for us all
and cheaper too now that we all had to fix our veranda's.

I know how to click.
We've had crappy internet all day. I rebooted every piece of
network hardware we have and now it's working as fast as it
should. Don't know why it sometimes gets bogged down like that.
The timing was so off it simply wouldn't connect with Edith's
site.
Anyway, I can now see the famous verandas. I like the views a
great deal.
The hills nearby look like the ones near here.

At last! Excellent! No wonder your flat was cluttered if you had to store
all that furniture inside. My goodness. But what great verandahs. The bigger
one is like a little room, really, isn't it? I can understand now why a big
puddle wouldn't be something you could put up with. A place like that needs
to be dry.
You'd never think that was in Norway, actually - if you told me this was a
verandah in some Mediterranean country I'd be inclined to believe you. Just
shows, eh?
Poor Orly looks like you've worn him out. I think you need to put him to bed
and look after him....

were deleted. I said, Orly luv, I'm not the subject. The verandah is the
subject and he said, ok, next time.

She's away for a few days, when she's back I'll get some more info from her,
about her childhood in Cumbria etc.
Her and my nan used to own a guest house in Grange in the 50s, my nan then
stayed in Grange when they sold it, which is how I know Grange from
childhood holidays.

I see. Those childhood holidays in Cumbria were the best. The Guest Houses

Er, noooo, lad actually. There's less of us than there was when you saw
us, at 't Twa Dogs.
I must sing the praises of "Curves" gym, who have helped me shift 10lbs
of fat since February, and this may be the reason than my blood
pressure is now several notches down in the safe zone.
