I think it might still be there, as it was a pretty big house. When I was a
kid my mum had some visitors from the area who told her the family home had
been converted into flats. So at least it was still standing then. And I
know the road that was named after him is still there, and still named the
same - if I google for it I find there are several big hotels located there.
I wonder if any of the present residents know anything about the man their
road was named after?
