I did it over Dave's farm this morning and see what happened. He's lost all

Hmm. The heavens opened over us a bit earlier than they did at Alston Moor, 
then. Can't remember exactly, but it'd be somewhere between 9-11am I think. 
Wonderful, heavy rain, watering all the parched plants for me and cooling 
things down. Excellent.

Same here, Ally. It started about 11ish while I was painting. Luckily enough
I had the markis down and it was wind still, otherwise I wouldn't have been
able to have them down. (Orly is going to fix a mechanism to strengthen
them.)It's much cooler now and the parched lawn is looking good again. I was
just starting to get a tan when the sun decided to take a holiday. oh well.
