Sockets below Mondeo fuse box
Does anyone know what the two sockets below the fuse box in a 2004 Mondeo
might be? (The interior fuse box, behind the glove box) My Diesel has a blue
one and a beige one, both seem to have a constant live and an ignition on
live, and numerous other spade like connections- I would like to know what
these are, and if possible the name, as I would like to try to purchase a
corresponding socket to direct wire my radar detector. Could the be for
auxilliary bits of Hifi, like a CD changer? or maybe connection points for a
hands free kit?
I have searched and searched, but with no success, any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ian

I'd imagine one of them would be the diagnostic port to the ECU.

They'll be sockets for optional components. But what plugs in to them is
anyones guess.
