anyone elses phone not working..  its getting annoying now!

im on orange and in grasmere (usually full signal)

Mine's OK. Never get a very good signal at home with O2, but it's there, 
more or less as usual.

As much as my Orange ever does downstairs.

Personally I wouldn't rely on a mobile working at all, bits of wire 
are much better and will work when the power goes off. Some cell sites 
have backup batteries but not all and those that do only last a few 
hours.

If it's just the signal go outside the building when you phone and cross
your fingers the fells aren't in the way. Have you tried mooving them
