Just bought a Fiesta Zetec S   X Reg.  It came with only one three button
ignition / door key (its a radio type key)  I'd like to buy a spare.  My
local Ford dealer (DEE's of Croydon) want just over 50 for a new key plus
80 programming charge.  Is there a cheaper alternative ?

full lock sets with transponder and keys come up cheaper than that on
ebay all the time.

but that won't help if this is one of the systems where the ECU or 
immobiliser unit has to be reprogrammed to match the new key chip. (Going 
through same problem with a Daihatsu)
