vertical tile cladding
My new house has decorative tile cladding beneath the 1st floor windows
running down to the top of the ground floor windows
(about 6 inches accross by 12 inches long, 2 holes at the top nailed to
battens)
Trouble is, two are broken
Anyone know a supplier (UK) that I could try to get some that match ?

Any roofing supplies. Have you taken all of the broken tiles out,? I don't
mean numbers but all the pieces. They can usually be taken out by putting an
old wood chisel under the head between the head of the tile and lath and
twisting the chisel to prise the tile and nail out. The manufactures name
it usually stamped on the underside of the tile. It practically imposable to
re nail the tiles back in, due to the over lap of the ones above. Just use
a dab of no nail about 2" or 50mm up from the bottom in the middle of the
row below, slip the tile into position so the nib hangs on the lath and
squeeze down flat. If the tile that are broken near the top just strip the
tiles off above in a V until access is reached. one nail should hold. Don't
hit the nails to hard, just enough to hold it in place , not tight.

If I knew which area you lived, Would be able to direct you to a roofing
supply merchant.
